Team Rubicon Region V Wrap-up

Thank you, Region V, for a great year.

We were able to accomplish so much to help communities in need. While the year might be over, 2017 is sure to bring so much more for our region. In the meantime, take a look at what 2016 brought for us.

Twelve months ago I don't think either of us could have foreseen what this year would bring. Between the elections, ISIS, David Bowie and a Cubs World Series win, I'm not sure what we should look for in 2017.

It was also a big year for TR. If you have time, I would encourage you to watch our Year in Review Video. It's set to Led Zeppelin, so you might want to plug in your headphones. What it will show you is that TR responded to 48 disasters this year, trained over 8,000 volunteers for disaster response, and grew to a total of 42,000 volunteers nationwide. Oh, and we helped over 2,500 homeowners when they needed it most--on their worst day.  Take Randy Mack, for instance, who we helped in South Carolina. You can watch his story here. David, believe me, we ARE building America's next great nonprofit organization, and we're doing it because of the support of people like you.

We have big plans for 2017 and beyond. David, I am sure you have a lot of organizations that you support. I hope you'll consider Team Rubicon.
